New Years Day

Bitterly cold over Christmas and sub-zero temperatures so this is always great for clear skies and winter sunsets. I went up to the edge of Sheffield to find a vantage place and as usual the best shot I got was one where I just pulled over and took a picture out of the window.
Lynmouth

We went to North Devon for a week and it was glorious sunny weather each day and very quiet everywhere because the schools hadn’t broken up yet. This meant that the beaches looked like this one at Westward Ho.
Even better than the beaches was the westerly aspect of this area so you can see sunsets like you would never see in Sheffield due to the air pollution and reflected light.
This sunset over the atlantic was taken from the Valley Of The Rocks just outside Lynmouth.
The following evening I took the sunset looking away from the sun in Lynmouth harbour.
